Physical AI for the food industry.

Our systems don't just see — they decide and act. They grade, sort and divert the product physically inside the line, at production speed.

Where our technology runs

The same perception-and-action architecture, applied to different industrial lines. Each sector has its own process, its own bottleneck and its own page.

Our own technology

We build technology that did not exist

Nine physical AI systems built from scratch, across six industrial sectors, with patents filed in more than 28 countries.

A single-product company cannot prove that it invents. Solving unrelated industrial problems with the same perception-and-action architecture is what separates the capacity to create from one lucky hit.

Patents in more than 28 countries

International filing is the most direct way to attest invention: not a marketing claim, but a technical examination carried out by a third party.

Individual static image capture

Every individual is analysed at rest, in a stable position. The image comes out sharp and comparable across batches — unlike capture in motion, where blur introduces error no model recovers from.

Perception and action in one system

Inspecting points; acting resolves. Our systems close the loop inside the line: they read, decide and move the product, with no operator in between. FusionBot is the cleanest example — a bespoke welding robot that inspects its own weld, in the same pass.

Hardware and software built in-house

AI model, electronics, mechanics and assembly are done by our team at our facility. An adaptation required by the customer process is solved at the source.

About Smartpixel

In-house engineering, from algorithm to equipment

We are an artificial intelligence and computer vision technology company with our own manufacturing plant in Herval d'Oeste and a research hub at the Inovale Innovation Centre in Joaçaba — Santa Catarina, Brazil. We develop the model, write the artificial intelligence, design the mechanics, assemble the equipment and follow the operation — which removes the gap between what AI promises and what the production line delivers.

The artificial intelligence and the software are developed in-house by our own team, and the equipment is designed and manufactured at our facility. Keeping hardware and software under one roof means an adaptation required by the customer process is solved at the source instead of worked around.

We work in open innovation with industry, universities and innovation centres, and our projects are born inside the customer's process, not in an isolated laboratory.

Research ecosystem

Our R&D happens alongside those producing science in Brazil

Keeping engineering in-house does not mean researching alone. Part of what we put into production is born in projects run with research institutions from our region and from Brazilian agribusiness.

AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH

Embrapa Suínos e Aves

Open innovation partnership with the Concórdia (SC) unit, a national reference in poultry and swine production. Our computer vision swine weighing system was one of the solutions awarded in Embrapa's Inova programme.

ENGINEERING AND AUTOMATION

IFC — Campus Luzerna

Technical cooperation with the Instituto Federal Catarinense campus specialised in Control and Automation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, with metrology, machining, welding and drive laboratories a few kilometres from our plant.

INNOVATION HUB

Polo Inovale

Our R&D hub sits inside the Inovale Innovation Centre, in Joaçaba — where we prototype equipment and test computer vision models before taking them to the factory floor. It is also where we build projects with the Santa Catarina Innovation Centres Network, connecting the company to universities, funding agencies and other technology-based companies in the state.
